The Royals concluded the tournament with a 2-3 record while the Lightning were winless in five games. Both teams came out strong to seize the early momentum in the opening quarter in an effort to finish off the weekend with a victory. It was a low-scoring contest, as the Royals and Lightning played tight on the defensive side of the ball. Ultimately, Douglas College capitalized on more of their offensive opportunities to secure the win.
