Canadian Wheelchair Basketball League - Open Division

The CWBL Open Division is a fully integrated league, featuring male and female athletes with and without a disability playing together in a spirit of competition and camaraderie. The nationwide league begins in September and culminates at the league finals in April.

Club teams from across the country compete in their respective conferences to gain a spot at the [CWBL Open Championships] where the top teams vie for the national title.

Classification

Wheelchair Basketball Canada classification system (1.0) through (4.5):

Able-bodied athletes classified as (4.5).
Total number of points on the court not to exceed 15 except:
If a team plays a female player the team will be entitled to add one (1) additional point to the total for each female player that is on court.
