2012 National Championships

The 2012 National Wheelchair Basketball Championships take place May 18-20, 2012 at the Richmond Oval, in Richmond, BC. The event is effectively two tournaments in one, as the top men's provincial teams and the best women's club teams from across Canada each compete to decide a National Champion.

The gold medal games will be webcast live at www.sportscanada.tv.

The medal ceremonies will take place following the championship games. There will be a special celebration at 5 p.m. on May 20th, as the Rick Hansen 25th Anniversary Relay makes its way to the Richmond Oval.

The following teams are competing at the event:

• Men's National Championships - British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, Alberta
• Women's Canadian Wheelchair Basketball League (CWBL) National Championships - Pool A: Quebec, BC Breakers, Ontario; Pool B: Edmonton Inferno, Calgary Rollers, Saskatchewan, Wildcards
