Alberta and Quebec to Battle for Gold at Junior National Championship in Longueuil

Four-time defending Canada Games gold medalists, Team Quebec, will square off against Team Alberta in the gold medal final of the 2018 Junior National Wheelchair Basketball Championships Sunday at 12pm EST. Quebec will have home court advantage as they fend for the title of national champion and top seed at the 2019 Canada Games.

Both Alberta and Quebec cruise into the championship game with 5-0 records this weekend after defeating their opponents in their quarter final and semi final matches today.

Team Ontario and Team Saskatchewan will face off at the bronze medal game Sunday at 10am EST.

The three-day tournament is co-hosted by Wheelchair Basketball Canada and Parasports Québec and features the best junior wheelchair basketball athletes in Canada.
