(Ottawa, ON) For the third consecutive year Wheelchair Basketball Canada is thrilled to team up with the NBA Canada for NBA 3X (formerly NBA Jam Session) taking place in Calgary, AB, August 11-12, 2012.
Once again spectators will have the opportunity to give the sport a try and learn some of the basics such as pushing, dribbling, and shooting, as well as check out a demonstration game.
Fans will also have the chance to meet some elite wheelchair basketball players, including Team Canada player Chad Jassman as gets set to compete at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
Wheelchair Basketball Canada returns to Calgary after making its NBA Jam Session debut in the Stampede City in 2010. Check out the video below for highlights from that event. The organization also made tour stops in Vancouver and Toronto in 2011.
