(Ottawa, Ont.) Wheelchair Basketball Canada is pleased to welcome Justin Vaughan to the organization in the role of Community Outreach Coordinator for the 2017 Men’s U23 World Wheelchair Basketball Championship.

“We are thrilled to welcome Justin to the Wheelchair Basketball Canada family,” said Wheelchair Basketball Canada Executive Director Wendy Gittens. “His enthusiasm and experience will be definite assets as we strengthen our community outreach efforts in lead up to the Men’s U23 World Wheelchair Basketball Championship.”

The event takes place June 8-16, 2017 as world-class athletes representing 12 nations, including host Canada, will converge at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in downtown Toronto to showcase the elite skill and athleticism that make wheelchair basketball a thrilling spectator sport and one of the most popular sports for athletes with a disability in the world.
