Special Project Funding

Wheelchair Basketball Canada is committed to providing ample opportunities and support for all clubs and provincial sport organizations (PSOs) across Canada.

In order to provide leadership and resources to increase measurable growth in the participation base, as well as develop opportunities that will encourage appropriate and relevant participation and competition, the organization dedicates financial resources for Special Project Funding that clubs and PSOs can apply for annually.

Special Project Funding focuses on the early stages of the Wheelchair Basketball Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model, specifically First Contact/Recruitment up to the Train to Train stage, in addition to the Competitive/Active for Life stages.

Consideration is given to projects that align closely with the goals and strategies outlined in our Strategic Plan.

Details about eligibility and the application process can be found by downloading the forms below.
