Canadian Men’s National Team Hosts Japan In Friendly Match January 24th In Toronto

(January 24, 2019 – TORONTO, ONT.) The Canadian Senior Men’s National Wheelchair Basketball Team will host Japan in an exhibition game on January 24, 2019 at the National Training Centre located at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre in Scarborough, Ont. The friendly match will tip off at 5 p.m. ET and is open to the public.

The exhibition game marks a test for Canada on the road to the Lima 2019 Parapan American Games this August, where the Canadians will compete for a berth to the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
Members of the media are invited to attend the game to capture visuals and Canadian athletes and coaches will be available for post-game interviews.
