Vaughan City Lasher’s Host Tournament February 17th

(Vaughan, ON) The Vaughan City Lasher’s wheelchair basketball team will host it’s second tournament of the season on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the Vellore Village Community Centre. The tournament features three teams: the Kitchener Twin City Spinners, the Burlington Vipers, and the Vaughan City Lasher’s.

All three teams compete in the Great Lakes Conference of the Canadian Wheelchair Basketball League (CWBL). Kitchener will play Vaughan at 1:30pm, Kitchener will face Variety Village at 3:00pm and Vaughan will play Variety Village at 4:30pm.

The Vaughan City Lasher’s, named in memory of former National Team Player David Lash, honour that stars memory every time they go on court. The Lasher’s logo bears the imagery of David Lash and will forever immortalize a friend and teammate.
