Team Canada will face Japan, GB and the Netherlands

Wheelchair Basketball Canada announced that the Senior Men’s National Team will participate in a camp and play in the Nations Cup in Cologne, Germany from August 14-18, 2024.

In addition to on-court practices, Canada will face Japan, Great Britain and the Netherlands in a series of games in preparation for the Paralympic Games (Aug. 29 – Sept. 8).

“The camp in Cologne will provide our athletes an excellent opportunity to fine-tune tactics ahead of Paris,” said Jeff Dunbrack, Wheelchair Basketball Canada High Performance Director. “The Nations Cup will give our athletes excellent competition as we prepare for the Paralympic Games.”

Team Canada will compete in Pool A against Great Britain, Germany, and France at the Paralympics. Canada opens the Games against the host France on August 30.
