Team TPASC won the 3×3 half-day challenge at the Toronto Pan AM Sports Centre on Thursday
Hoopfest Toronto, proudly presented by Toyota Canada, hit the courts of the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre on Thursday with Team TPASC winning the 3-on-3 tournament.
Wheelchair Basketball Canada’s signature fundraising event raised $20,000, bringing the total amount raised at Hoopfest to nearly $120,000 in support of grassroots wheelchair basketball programs across Canada.

Team TPASC took home the gold medal, defeating Team Toyota 2 6-4 in the final. In the third-place game, Desjardins defeated Toyota 1 6-5 to secure the bronze medal.
Ten teams participated in Hoopfest Toronto, including entries from the Toyota Canada, Sunrise Medical, Desjardins, Hollister, IFG Workplace, Durham Medical and the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre.
Hoopfest is a half-day challenge that builds team spirit as corporate, and community teams enjoy the thrill of competing in a fun and completely inclusive 3-on-3 wheelchair basketball tournament. The event’s goal is to raise funds that enable more Canadians to experience the life-changing impact of wheelchair basketball while bringing awareness to the sport and the athletes.
