Canada will take on Colombia for gold on Wednesday at 6:05 p.m. EST.
“Our game plan was focused on fast transition,” explained Rosie Long. “I think we really stuck to that for a lot of the game, and it went really well.
“We are so hyped for the gold medal match tomorrow.”
On Tuesday, Canada closed out round-robin play with a dominant 16-3 win over Brazil before meeting the same opponent in the semifinals.
“The first game, we were in our heads a little bit,” Long said. “I think we were overthinking it a bit too much because we have a lot of confidence in ourselves.”

“In the second game, we regrouped, really came together, and discussed our game plan,” Long added. “I think we executed it really well.”
