SMNT heads to Spain for camp

Eleven athletes will participate in the camp from Sept. 25-29

Wheelchair Basketball Canada announced that 11 athletes will participate in a camp and series of exhibition games in Bilbao, Spain, from Sept. 25-29, 2023.

The five-day camp will include a mix of on-court practices, off-court activities and five exhibition games against club teams Bilbao and Burgos.

“The five-day camp will allow our athletes to build chemistry on and off the court as we prepare for the Parapan American Games,” said Jeff Dunbrack, Wheelchair Basketball Canada High Performance Director. “The camp will also provide our coaching staff an opportunity to evaluate athletes before making final roster decisions for Santiago.”
