WBC’s Holiday Fundraiser is the December-long peer-to-peer fundraising campaign encouraging supporters to raise funds for Wheelchair Basketball Canada. Participants can fundraise for exciting prizes by collecting donations to help fund programs and support athletes. Every donation helps give everyone the opportunity to play!
Join the challenge today and, together, let’s move people to FEEL, THINK, and ACT differently about wheelchair basketball and people with disabilities.
HOW TO ENTER
To enter the Contest, participants must:
- Create an official fundraising page: Participants must create a fundraising page using the official fundraising platform Canada Helps
- Fundraise: As a participant, you have access to a customizable fundraising page where you can share your story, set your goal, and invite friends, family, and colleagues to support you. Plus, you can win amazing prizes for your efforts (see below)!
PRIZES
The following prizes are available to be won:
- Top Fundraiser: Two (2) Air Canada tickets to any destination in Canada.
*Top fundraiser must raise a minimum of $1,500 to win
- $500 Raised: Fundraisers who raise $500 or more will be entered into a draw to win an exclusive ticket, food, and hotel package for the Ottawa 2026 IWBF Wheelchair Basketball World Championships.
- $200 Raised: Fundraisers who raise $200 or more will receive a limited edition WBC JUNK Headband.
