Wheelchair Basketball Canada to host NextGen Camp in Charlottetown

58 athletes will participate in the two-day camp at UPEI

Wheelchair Basketball Canada announced 58 athletes will participate in the NextGen Camp from June 13-14 at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre on the University of Prince Edward Island campus.

Led by Men’s Under-23 head coach Darrell Nordell, the two-day camp will feature on-court activities and serve as an evaluation opportunity for Wheelchair Basketball Canada’s High Performance staff.

“The NextGen Camp is an excellent opportunity for us to introduce new players to our program and for the athletes to work on skill development,” said Jeff Dunbrack, Wheelchair Basketball Canada High Performance Director. “We look forward to bringing this group of athletes and staff together as we continue to develop and improve the next generation of Wheelchair Basketball players in Canada.”
