Twelve athletes will participate in the camp from March 10-12 at the NTC

Wheelchair Basketball Canada announced 12 athletes will participate in the Women’s Under-25 Camp at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre from March 10-12, 2023.

The three-day camp will include a mix of on-court practices and off-court activities and provide the Women’s Under-25 Team with an opportunity to work on training techniques, improve skills and grow together on the court as they prepare for upcoming competitions, including the IWBF Women’s U25 World Championship.

“This camp is an important step in the 2023 season and will be focused not only on-court development but also on continuing to grow as a program,” said Jeff Dunbrack, Wheelchair Basketball Canada High Performance Director. “The three-day camp will allow WBC staff to evaluate athletes as we build towards selecting a roster for the U25 Worlds.”
