Mickael Poulin
Biography
Mickael Poulin was first introduced to wheelchair basketball in his hometown of Quebec City when he saw an article in the local newspaper.
He was immediately attracted to the physicality of the game and says the two things he enjoys most about playing are the contact and intensity.
He first joined Team Canada in 2005 as a member of the national junior team. A year later, he joined the Senior Men’s National Team and helped Canada to its first world championship title in Amsterdam.
When he’s not occupied with the Team Canada, Poulin likes to travel and hang out with friends. He’s made plenty over the years playing wheelchair basketball on behalf of the province of Quebec, with both the provincial and Bulldogs club teams.
