Canadian Men’s Team to hold camp, host Japan in Toronto

Fifteen athletes will participate in the camp and games at the National Training Centre

Wheelchair Basketball Canada announced that 15 athletes will participate in a camp from January 23-29, 2023, at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre.

In addition to on-court practices, the Canadian Men’s National Team will play host to Japan for six exhibition games. All six games are free and open to the public.

“The mix of games and practices over seven days will allow our athletes to build team chemistry on and off the court as we prepare for the upcoming 2023 season,” said Jeff Dunbrack, Wheelchair Basketball Canada High Performance Director. “The six exhibition games against Japan will give our men’s team excellent competition in preparation for upcoming competitions.”
