Role: Concourse/Merchandise

What are you doing at the 2014 WWWBC: I’ve been helping out in a lot of areas, from giving spectators directions to reading I.D.s. I try to engage with all sorts of attendees and fellow volunteers so that they can take something positive home from their days spent at the competition.

What moves you about wheelchair basketball: It is so competitive. It’s admirable that no matter what your limitations are in life, you can come out with a positive result as long as you’re determined and motivated. Also, the amount of skill involved is tremendous. They really make it look easy. I wish more people could come out and be a part of the competition.
