Athletes will train at WBC’s National Training Centre from March 21-25

Wheelchair Basketball Canada is pleased to announce 11 athletes will attend the Women’s Development Camp from March 21-25, 2022, at WBC’s National Training Centre.

Among the 11 athletes attending are Tokyo 2020 Paralympians Tamara Steeves (Mississauga, Ont.), Sandrine Bérubé (Beauharnois, Que.), Tara Llanes (North Vancouver, B.C.), and Danielle Duplessis (Fredericton, N.B.).

“This camp is an important first step in the 2022 season and will be focused not only on-court development but also on continuing to grow as a program,” said Jeff Dunbrack, Wheelchair Basketball Canada High Performance Director. “With limited opportunities for development over the past two years, our athletes and staff are excited to come together for this camp.”
