SMNT heads to Colorado for Rocky Mountain Cup

Twelve athletes to participate in the camp and games from Feb. 15-20

Wheelchair Basketball Canada announced that 12 athletes will participate in a Senior Men’s National Team camp and the Rocky Mountain Cup in Colorado Springs, Colorado, from Feb. 15-20.

The SMNT will play four friendly international games against the United States and Italy in preparation for the 2024 Men’s IWBF Repechage Tournament (April 12-15) in Antibes, France.

“The six-day camp will allow our athletes to build team chemistry on and off the court as we prepare for the Paris Qualifier,” said Jeff Dunbrack, Wheelchair Basketball Canada High Performance Director. “The four friendly games will assist our athletes with the needed reps in preparation for Antibes.”
