Tigers and Gladiateurs to play for gold at the CWBL National Championship

The Vikings and athletes representing New Brunswick and Manitoba will play for gold in Division 2

The Scarborough Tigers and the Gladiateurs de Laval will play for gold in Division 1 on Sunday at the CWBL National Championship in Montreal.

Scarborough defeated Centre d’integration a la vie active 71-41 in the semifinal game to earn their spot in Sunday’s final. Meanwhile, the Gladiateurs de Laval erased a 40-27 halftime deficit and squeezed out a 68-67 win over the Calgary Rollers to book their ticket in Sunday’s gold medal game.

Centre d’integration a la vie active, and the Rollers will play for bronze in Division 1 on Sunday.

In the second division, the Vikings defeated the BC Orcas 59-49 to punch their ticket into the gold medal game. The athletes representing New Brunswick and Manitoba beat Les Glaciers 79-29, earning a spot in Sunday’s final.

The BC Orcas and Les Glaciers will face off in Sunday’s Divison 2 bronze medal game.

Wheelchair Basketball Canada and Parasports Quebec co-host the three-day tournament. It features the top club teams in the country competing for the title of national champions in two divisions at the Centre Pierre Charbonneau. The competition concludes on Sunday, with the bronze medal game starting at 9 am ET.
